Mile Stones in DCL's Software Development
1994 – Water Billing Software Development – It was one of its first kind of a solution developed to run on industrial type hand held computer running with CP/M operating sytstem. It enabled municipalities to do door step billing to collect water bills much faster compared to manual reading of meters.
2002 – Software development for Contactless Reading of Infra red Water meters with hand held computer. This project was developed for a water meter manufacturer company for their infra red water meters.
2003- Smart Electrical Meter reading S/W - Software was developed to automatically transfer the data on smart electrical meters to the hand held computer by placing a probe on to the meter. Smart meters produce more than one data according to the usage hours.
2004 – Centralized Water Subscription Management Software. This software was developed to create an integrated solution from software running on the server to the software running on the hand held computer.
2005 – Software solution was developed for Natural Gas Distrubution companies integrating GIS and hand held computer software into the same implementation.
2006- Software development for a mining company to follow up their trucks loading and unloading. This sofware was tracking the weight of the trucks combining the information collected on the field by hand held computers.
2007 – Web based Software development for Service Product Monitoring and Management . This software was developed for the main company carrying out the HP repair services all over Turkey. This software is currently being used by all HP repair services which enables centralized monitoring for all repair process of a product and also supplies information to the customer.
2008 – Invoice Payment Terminal Software development. This project is being funded by TUBITAK, Official body which awards the research and development projects that deserves. This software is one of its first kind being used by a municipality .It consist of self service terminal software and remote monitoring and management of terminals.
2009 – Hardware Construction of an Invoice Payment Terminal Integration of all necessary equipment in a housing cabinet to form the complete hardware for the invoive payment terminal.
